Rapid Lash Before & After Pics!

First of all let me apologize about my dang eyebrows in the before pics.  I have no clue what I was thinking... I mean it makes perfect sense to take close up shots of your eyes and not wax your brows, right?  Anyway, I started using Rapid Lash once a day (at night before bed) in April and it's now the end of July.  I got purchased my Rapid Lash at Ulta for $50.  I would say the results are subtle but definitely noticeable.  I have a little bit more length, a little bit more thickness, and my lashes are definitely more black.  The applicator is a very fine brush, kind of like an eyeliner brush. You apply it to your upper lashline, and it says to make sure you don't have on any eye creams or anything else on your skin in that area.
I feel like the results are a little more obvious in person, especially when I'm wearing a great mascara.

Drugstore foundation combo for a flawless look!

I recently slacked off a bit with my self tanning routine, and while looking through my collection to find a match for my lighter skin I stumbled across this combo. I absolutely love it! It's Maybelline Superstay and Neutrogena Healthy Skin. Superstay is very matte and Healthy Skin has a bit if a Dewey finish so the end result is perfect! Also the beauty blender applied them so beautifully!
From left: beauty blender, Maybelline Superstay Natural Beige, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Nude, NYX Natural blush, Milani Multitasker powder, and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer. I forgot to include my concealer but I used Mac Prolongwear nw20:)

My No Foundation Day!

Hi everyone! Do you ever have days that you don't wear foundation but you still want to look semi-polished and have more of an even skin tone? I'll be honest with you, I don't have days like this very often....foundation and face products are some of my favorite steps in my makeup routine. However there were a couple of days this week that I wanted to go foundation-less!:) here is my no foundation look and the products I used to achieve it:)

From left: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer, CG & Olay corrector, Mac Studio Fix powder nw 25, The Balm Frat Boy blush, Mac Prolongwear concealer nw20, and Laura Gellar The Real Deal concealer
The studio fix powder is wonderful at giving you a natural even overall skin tone. I used the CG and mac convealers under my eyes and the LG concealer on a few blemishes i had. The end result is a fresh and awake look! Hope you enjoyed!:)

FOTD: Easy Glam

Hi everyone! Today I have no where to go and really nothing to do (well I could always clean house but we won't talk about that)! Anyway, I was really looking forward to taking my time and playing with my look today. I'm always rushing in the mornings, plus I can't wear anything too dark and smokey to work. I came up with this look that's smokey and glam but also really simple. And my eyeshadows are all drugstore, so that's even better! Read on to learn more.

For my face I wanted glowy skin and a peachy cheek. These are the products I chose (pictured below): Tarte Maracuja Miracle foundation in Light, Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in True Beige, CG & Olay corrector, Mac Prolongwear concealer NW20, Mac Studiofix powder NW25, The Balm Bahama Mama bronzer, and Mac Peaches blush

For the eyes I wanted an easy glam smokey eye without traditional black and brown. The look is actually a lot warmer than the way it's coming off in the pics but you get the idea:)
Here are the eye and lip products I used:
MUG Shimma Shimma on lid, Milani shadows in Flare and Java Bean in crease and outer corner respectively,as well as smudged on lower lashline, NYX Highlight on brow bone, Eyeko liquid liner in Black on upper lashline, NYX Slide on pencil in Golden Bronze on lower lashline and waterline (great for green eyes!), Salon Perfect Demi Wispies (not pictured), Loreal Voluminous in Carbon Black, and Maybelline Pin Up Peach Color Whisper on lips.
I hope you like the look! Please come back and visit soon!
Xoxo

Long time no see! :(

Wow.....August was the last time I posted on this poor little blog! That's going to change right about....now!  I really do love blogging and I somehow just got out of the swing of things.  I'm going to start linking my blog again in all of my YouTube videos, so look out for that.  In the meantime I thought I would get your opinions on what videos you would like to see the most!  I usually keep a list of video ideas that I want to film in the next couple of weeks.  Tonight I'm going to show you my list and you can let me know what you want to see first! Sound good? :)

1. Highlight/Contour
2. Every day makeup tutorial
3. Favorite spring/summer lipsticks
4. Various foundation routines and reviews (includes Cover FX, Estee Lauder Double Wear Max Coverage)

Next up will by my newest Empties, or products I've used up.  I love watching those types of things.  And of course if there is any other video you would like to see from me that isn't listed above, don't hesitate to let me know!  I hope all of you have a fabulous weekend and I will see you very soon!

Love,
Casey

P.S. If you're interested in the makeup I've got going on in this pic I have a tutorial for that! :)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS-3h1A4Gxw
