Victoria's Secret Model Inspired Makeup

Hey guys!  So....have you ever watched a Victoria's Secret fashion show or flipped through one of their famous catalogues and wondered how they get their bronzey glow and gorgeous natural looking makeup?  Well, I have.  And after experimenting a bit, it's really not all that hard to achieve their look!  Now, as far as getting their lean bodies and that sort of thing.....if any of you figure that out, then you can help me!  Haha, just kidding.  Anyway, here are some pictures and a list of the products that were used to get this look.  I also have a live tutorial on youtube if you want to see these products in action!

Urban Decay Naked Palette Glam Eyes

Hey guys!!!  So far I'm really loving my Naked palette!  The only thing I've noticed is that I probably won't be using one of the shadows very much....the lid color that I used in this look, Sidecar.  It's pretty but it's just way too glittery and even though I took all the necessary precautions to avoid glitter fallout, the glitter still ended up all over my cheeks. :(  Oh well.....I still think this is a really pretty look.  If you were to use a different lid color I think it would be perfect for a bridal makeup look!  Here are some pics and a list of all the products I used.  Hope you enjoy!

It's Prom Time!

Hi guys! So today I had the opportunity to help a couple of lovely ladies get ready for their high school prom! Of course I love doing makeup, whether it's on myself or other people, so I was really looking forward to working on them and figuring out what colors would compliment their prom dresses.  Below I will show you guys their before and after pics, as well as a full listing of every single product I used on each of them!

First up was Taylor, who was going to be wearing a gorgeous royal purple dress.  I decided to do a neutral yet dramatic eye look on her with some light pinky-plum on the lid and darker smokier plums and gunmetal grays on the outer corner.  And of course pink lips :)

Here is her before picture:

And her after pictures:

Here is a list of the products I used on her:
CeraVe moisturizer
Loreal True Match foundation in N3 Natural Buff
Maybelline Super Stay concealer in Light
Maybelline Dream Matte powder
ELF HD powder
NYC bronzer in Sunny
Jane blush in Blushing Orchid Summer
NYC blushable Creme Stick in South St. Seashell

Face:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Shadows from Naked palette: Toasted, Hustle, Naked, Gunmetal, Virgin
Wet N Wild brow pencil in Taupe
Loreal Extra Intense eyeliner pencil in Black
Maybelline Full N Soft mascara in Very Black
Salon Perfect false lashes (can't remember the number, sorry!)
Urban Decay All Nighter spray

Lips:
NYX lipliner in Flower
Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in Airy Fairy
NYX lipgloss in Beige

Next up was Faith, who was wearing a red dress and wanted some gorgeous red lips to go with it!
Here is Faith before her makeup:
And here are her after pics:

Since I knew we were going to be doing dramatic red lips, I wanted to keep her eyes fairly neutral, but still defined...so I went with a pink champagne lid color and some dark brown applied with a light hand.  And of course we had to have false lashes for that extra oomph! I think they make her light colored eyes stand out even more! Here are the products I used on her (a lot will be repeats since they are sisters and have similar skin tones!):

Face:
CeraVe moisturizer
Loreal True Match foundation in N3 Natural Buff
Maybelline Super Stay concealer in Light
Maybelline Dream Matte powder
ELF HD powder
NYC bronzer in Sunny
NYC cream blush in South St Seashell
NARS blush in Torrid
ELF facial whip in Lilac Petal
Urban Decay All Nighter spray

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Shadows from Naked palette: Sin, Naked, Darkhorse, Virgin
Loreal HIP gel liner in Black
Maybelline Full n Soft mascara in Very Black
Salon Perfect false lashes
Wet n Wild eyebrow pencil in Taupe

Lips:
NYX lipliner in Plush Red
NYC lipstick in Retro Red

I really hope the girls were pleased with their looks, and had an awesome prom night! It was right up my alley, I had a great time, and as you can see I had great canvases to work with! Thanks again Taylor and Faith for letting me do your prom makeup! ;)

Sultry Bronze Smokey Eye

Hi friends!  So I just did a little shopping today and decided to film a makeup tutorial! I didn't really have much time to do a step by step speaking tutorial, so I just put some music to it and did my thing! It's just a very simple bronze smokey eye with some pretty lashes and pink lips.  It features my favorite drugstore eyeshadow palette.  It's the Maybelline Experwear quad in Chai Latte.  I've had this palette for probably going on 2 years now and it's perfect for summer...although I of course use it year round!  I really hope you like this look, and it's super inexpensive and easy to achieve, so try it out! It will suit pretty much any skin tone and eye color.

Got the Blues?

Very few things make me happier than a good bargain....my new favorite find is only 99 cents! It's from Sally Girl and it's their single shadow in Midnight.  I've only tried one other shadow by this brand, a shimmery white shade called Snow.  I use it almost every day, and it's awesome too!  But back to this new shade of mine....it's an extremely pigmented dark navy blue and it's absolutely gorgeous! In this look I actually sheered it out quite a bit because I had to go to work and didn't want to go too over the top! But if you did some serious swiping with this color, look out! What you see in the pan is definitely what you get on your skin. Pairing it with this gold color I think really complimentes the navy. I also used a blue gel eyeliner, but if you're partial to black that would of course be beautiful too.  Hope you like it and here is what I used for this look!
